Tár
Release Date: 13th January 2023
“Set in the international world of Western classical music, the film centers on Lydia Tár, widely considered one of the greatest living composer-conductors and the very first female director of a major German orchestra.”
Starring Cate Blanchet as Lydia Tár with direction by Todd Field, this gritty biographical drama is sure to peak your interest. Following one of the world’s most prolific female composer-conductors, we deep dive into her psyche to see what really makes her tick, and how incredible music is brought to life. I smell Oscar buzz already. Definitely one to watch.
2. Ant Man & The Wasp Quantumania

“Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne, along with Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne, explore the Quantum Realm, where they interact with strange creatures and embark on an adventure that goes beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.”
Marvel fans… assemble. The next instalment of Ant Man & The Wasp is here and it proves to be a zinger. One can only imagine this movie will take us deeper into the quantum realm to explore any powerful forces that may be lying dormant there. The eagled eyed among you will notice the incredible Jonathan Majors as Kang The Conqueror on the poster. Especially exiting after his cameo in Loki brought us a teaser of great things to come!
3. Cocaine Bear
Release Date: 24th February 2023
“An oddball group of cops, criminals, tourists, and teens converge in a Georgia forest where a 500-pound black bear goes on a murderous rampage after unintentionally ingesting cocaine.”
Loosely based on the true story of a black bear who found, ingested, and overdosed on a large amount of cocaine. Somewhere in a forest in Georgia I believe? Poor bear. With a little creative license, this whirlwind thriller looks to take us on the weirdest ride of our lives. Directed by the amazing Elizabeth Banks and starring Ray Liota, Keri Russel and Margo Martindale. The trailer alone is enough to leave you baffled in the best way.
4. Creed III

“Adonis has been thriving in both his career and family life, but when a childhood friend and former boxing prodigy resurfaces, the face-off is more than just a fight.”
Directed by and starring Michael B Jordan, his feature directorial debut proves to be a big one with the third installment of the Rocky spin off. Jordan plays the son of Rocky’s nemesis and friend Apollo Creed, who I am sure will find himself in another tense bout of fistycuffs again! With the first two Creed movies a roaring success, I can’t help to think this third will follow suit!
