Boost Your Confidence With Challenges

There is a sense under the senses there is a hidden world beneath the phenomenal ever changing reality. Finding keys to unlock the door of this hidden dimension is priceless. Because it gives meaning to our fragmented perception and validates intuitive thinking, it sustains the spirit, therefore the eternal truth. Such were the teachings of tantra opening my mind to infinite possibilities and ways to tread the world. Because the meaning of the term tantra is “extension”, referring to the expansion of mind that overrides the fragments of polarity.

Learn How To Keep Faith

When I think of faith, I see someone with their hands clasped tightly together and eyes closed in desperation. It’s an image of someone who cannot bear to have anymore loss; it is a last resort to clutch onto the will to keep going. Calling in an energy that seeps into them like honey, melting into their cells and inspiring something that is patient and grounding. Gentle drops dampening a fire of fear that slowly stops burning and hurting them. Even if it’s just for the moment, it’s the ability to trust.

How To Fight Doomscrolling

It is 3 a.m. You have been scrolling through Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok since 9 p.m. It feels like you have spent maybe 5 minutes on social media, but in reality it has been hours. The Journey Matters, Not The Destination

The importance of setting and reaching goals is drilled into us almost from birth. From the minute we’re old enough to talk, we’re told how important it is to achieve, to reach the next milestone, and to do it quicker and better than everyone else.

We have those big, all-important goals, such as finishing school, graduating university, and finding the right job. Then we have goals that we set for ourselves – whether that’s writing a novel, crocheting a blanket or getting in shape, we’re constantly working towards something that we believe will make us feel happier and more fulfilled.

All of these goals, whether big or small, fall under that big, all-encompassing question – who am I, and what do I want to do with my life?

Productivity does not always mean meeting deadlines, revising for exams, or cleaning your entire house. When we think of productivity, we immediately think to ourselves, ‘I’m not doing enough’. This is usually because our idea of productivity involves working consistently, without breaks, until we mentally and physically burn out. This does not create a positive or healthy relationship with the word ‘productivity’. To be productive, does not mean to complete a long list of jobs or tasks that we know will overwhelm and tire us out. There are a few ways we can feel productive at the start of the day, without pushing ourselves to the limit.

The Importance Of A Slower Pace Of Life

In a rare quiet moment in mid-October, we joked that we should block out our calendars to just catch up on sleep for a month. But having named our exhaustion, we realized we needed to do something to slow down our pace of life. And so #noplansnovember was born.
For the month of November, aside from work and other regular commitments, we would intentionally make no plans. We didn’t have to do anything special with them, but we would deliberately design our weekends and evenings with ‘quiet’ as our top priority.

The day of love is quickly approaching, and if you’re anything like me you’ll relish any excuse to celebrate those you love most! This year, as well as my glorious other half, I want to make sure that I take the time to celebrate some other key loves of my life… my friends. Good friends are so important, and there’s nothing quite like those formative female friendships to keep you going! They’re always there when you need an ear to rant to, always ready with a pack of kleenex to wipe away your tears and, more often than not, they’re always ready with a bottle of fizz to celebrate those small wins in life. So, without further ado, let’s celebrate your gals. Let’s Galentines this day!
